Summer Activities

  Some activities that I did over this summer were hiking, babysitting, and reading.

The last thing that I did in summer was reading. Even though I always read whenever I have the time to, I increased my reading in the summer just because to increase my reading skills. The last story I read in the summer was call "Follow the path" and it was about how the people that live during Jesus was alive on earth. With that small book, I learn that even with the soldiers and the "King" on the land did not wanted to heard about Christ, the Adventist and Christians keep insisting that the people should surrender through Christ. The book was impressive for me because even with the soldiers were trying to kill  them, they keep with his word and they would make a difference to the present that we know now. 

In the summer I went hiking around a mountain with my church friends. After hiking through the mountain we stayed on a place camping with my 8 friends from church. On a days that had past, we saw a big bear getting closer to our camping, my friends and I were scared but we knew that if we  don't do anything wrong to the big bear, he wouldn't do anything to us either. After those 3 day, we went back to our church and we had a review for that camping-experience. We learn about differents types of trees and flower, we also learn that you shouldn't do anything out of the usual just to be playing around or trying to be a cool person.

Most of my summer I used by babysitting one of my neighbors daughter. Her name is Susana, she is 4 years old. Whenever I went to babysit her, she was happy, because I would go to her house and I'll be trying to teach her some recipes  that had work for me in my cooking skills. I mostly do not know how to cook or make something really good, but I try my best and the small details I know, I teach her that. Even though the summer vacation has ended, I still go to her house to play or to watch a movie with the little Monica.
